Stalking Tyler are a
four-piece indie rock band who hail from the seaside town of Seaton in
Devon. They have been playing together since the summer of 2005 when Josh
and Brian met Tom and started jamming together. They started off with
covers of bands such as Radiohead, The libertines and the pixies, but it
was not long before they started creating their own music. One of their
most popular songs is the first they ever wrote together Neon Lights. However, one major component was missing and this was a bassist. For months the boys tried out many people but for one reason or another, nobody could quite fill the slot as well as they had hoped. They were at their wits end and thought they were destined to go on bassless when Chris Hall (Hallie) jumped into the picture and completed the four. Since then they have been playing gigs regularly around the Devon and Dorset area and have visited Coombeshead recording studios twice to record their E.P.s Number 46 and All Doors Are Open. The band's local reputation and success has grown rapidly with a friendly and loyal fan base and bigger gigs much more often. In the near future they hope to play as often as possible everywhere they can and to start the recording process again. |
